Dana is a dedicated and caring practitioner with extensive training and experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Pennsylvania and holds a MSTOM (Master’s of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine) from the renowned Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, San Diego; there she completed a rigorous four-year program consisting of nearly 4000 hours of classroom and clinical training in Chinese Herbology, Acupuncture, and Western Medicine. She has completed clinical rotations at UC San Diego Hospital’s Owen Clinic and Rady Children’s Hospital, San Diego. While trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine, she also specializes in Japanese Meridian Therapy and has studied with several Japanese Masters both in the United States and Japan. While Dana treats numerous conditions effectively, she holds a particular interest in preventative wellness care, women’s health, gastrointestinal disorders, sleep issues, psycho-emotional problems, and pediatrics.
My goal is to utilize Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine to help empower my patients to take control of their own health and well-being, as I believe that is when the most profound healing occurs. Working with the therapies of Chinese Medicine, I strive to bring the body back into balance: body, mind and spirit. I want to create a true partnership with my patients wherever they may be in their healing journeys, and my varied background in several styles of acupuncture helps me individualize treatments for each patient to attain optimal results.
